Diagnostic Radiology Technologist – Per Diem

Role: Radiologic Technologist responsible for performing diagnostic, therapeutic, and research radiologic procedures.
Responsibilities: Obtain correct patient identification, prepare patients, utilize imaging protocols, optimize safety per ALARA principles, evaluate image quality, document radiation activities, and assist licensed practitioners with fluoroscopic and specialized procedures.
Additional duties include educating healthcare providers and students, managing medications and radiation exposure documentation, and performing procedures outside the Radiology Department as needed.
Qualifications: Graduate of a Specialty Training Program in Radiologic Technology; ARRT-R registration required within 6 months for new graduates; preferred Bachelor’s Degree in a related field.
Skills: Knowledge of radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures, patient safety, image evaluation, and compliance with regulations.
Work is performed in a clinical environment, adhering to policies and procedures.
