Role Overview: The Sonographer performs ultrasound imaging, including abdominal, obstetrical, small parts, and vascular studies, to assist in diagnosis and treatment for adult and pediatric patients.
Key Responsibilities: Ensure equipment readiness, independently conduct ultrasound exams, document procedures accurately, and perform on-call, portable, or site-specific studies as needed.
Qualifications & Skills: Requires an associate or trade school education, RDMS or equivalent certification, and a minimum of no experience; preferred candidates have at least 2 years of experience, RDCS or equivalent, and CPR certification.
Additional Duties: Assist with needle procedures like biopsies and drainages, and ensure proper equipment function.
