Role: Assistant Nurse Manager in the Operating Room, overseeing patient care, personnel management, equipment maintenance, and statistical tracking.
Responsibilities:
- Manage staff including hiring, training, assigning work, evaluating performance, and facilitating professional development.
- Participate in staffing, budget development, and ensure adherence to financial and operational goals.
- Oversee patient care, ensuring interventions meet age and developmental needs, and document according to policy.
- Create and implement collaborative care plans based on assessments and medical treatments.
- Supervise staff scheduling, payroll, and communication; conduct performance reviews and disciplinary actions as needed.
- Ensure staff productivity aligns with departmental objectives and support overall operational success.
Qualifications:
- Nursing Diploma/Associate’s Degree in Nursing; RN licensure required.
- 2-5 years of experience; supervisory experience preferred but not mandatory.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing and 5-10 years of experience with less than 2 years of supervisory experience are preferred.
