Role Overview:
Seeking a Senior MRI Technologist to perform advanced imaging procedures in a surgical and interventional environment. This full-time role involves no call, with day shift hours over three days per week, utilizing Siemens MRI machines. The technologist will support OR cases, assist in training staff and students, and contribute to quality assurance and safety initiatives. Responsibilities include preparing patients and equipment, performing independent studies, and leading process improvements under supervision. The position requires an associate degree or higher, certification (R.T.(R) and/or MR), and 2+ years of experience, with preferred MRI and OR experience. The role involves mentorship, regulatory compliance, and teamwork in a fast-paced hospital setting.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Associate degree or higher in a related field
- Certification as a Registered Technologist in Radiography (R.T.(R)) and/or MR
- 2+ years of experience; MRI and OR experience preferred
- Licenses/certifications such as ARRT, CI, VI, or equivalent
- Strong knowledge of MRI, radiology, and medical imaging techniques
- Ability to mentor and train staff and students
- Commitment to safety and quality standards
Key Duties:
- Prepare patients and equipment for MRI procedures
