Role: Physical Therapist responsible for assessing, planning, and implementing rehabilitative programs to improve mobility, reduce pain, and prevent deformity in patients with injuries or diseases. Services are delivered across the continuum, emphasizing quality, cost-effectiveness, and regulatory compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Patient Assessment: Collaborate with physicians to establish and evaluate treatment plans, goals, and discharge strategies, incorporating patient and family input.
- Care Provision: Implement treatment plans, select appropriate activities, adjust goals as needed, and educate patients and families. Provide discharge instructions and referrals.
- Documentation: Record evaluations, treatment sessions, and educational activities per departmental standards.
- Professional and Ethical Conduct: Maintain confidentiality, punctuality, dress code adherence, effective communication, and participation in meetings and training.
- Customer Service & Teamwork: Apply AIDET principles, foster positive interactions, promote teamwork, and ensure respectful treatment of patients and colleagues.
- Professional Development: Engage in ongoing education, complete required competencies, and participate in staff orientation and training.
Qualifications:
- Graduate from an accredited physical therapy program (Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Doctorate)
- Valid physical therapy license and BLS certification (or equivalent)
- Effective communication, customer service focus, teamwork, and basic computer skills
