Role: XRAY Technologist I, with potential for advancement based on skills and experience.
Responsibilities:
- Perform diagnostic radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures, ensuring correct patient identification, preparation, and documentation.
- Utilize appropriate imaging protocols, optimize technical factors, and prioritize patient safety following ALARA principles.
- Evaluate images for quality, proper positioning, and manage data storage and transfer.
- Assist licensed practitioners with fluoroscopic and specialized procedures, including outside of radiology settings.
- Prepare and administer medications as prescribed, monitor patients, and educate healthcare team members.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Graduate from a Specialty Training Program in Radiologic Technology.
- New graduates must obtain ARRT-R registry within 6 months.
- Ability to perform independently and assist in complex procedures.
- Strong attention to safety, technical, and patient care standards.
