Role Overview

The Medication Aide/Med Tech is responsible for administering medications and treatments to residents accurately, safely, and with dignity. This role requires following physician orders, adhering to the Six Rights of Medication Administration, and maintaining precise documentation in MAR/TAR systems.

Key duties include observing residents during and after medication passes, monitoring symptoms, reporting concerns promptly, completing narcotic counts, and maintaining clean medication carts and rooms while following infection control and safety standards.

The position plays a vital role in preventing medication errors, early detection of health changes, and ensuring resident safety through attention to detail and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications & Skills:

• High School Diploma/GED and age 18+
• Medication Administration certification
• CPR and First Aid certification
• Strong documentation and communication skills
• Senior care experience preferred
