Resident Care Director (RN) – Clinical Leadership Role

The Resident Care Director (RCD) serves as the clinical leader, overseeing health, wellness, and care coordination to provide safe, high-quality, resident-centered services.
Responsibilities include leading and managing the nursing team, conducting resident assessments, overseeing Individualized Service Plans (ISP), monitoring health changes, and coordinating with physicians and clinical partners.
They are responsible for medication management, infection control programs, and ensuring compliance with federal and state regulations.
The role involves driving Quality Assurance and Performance Improvement (QAPI) initiatives and serving as the CLIA and Infection Control leader as applicable.
Additional duties include recruiting, hiring, training, and managing clinical staff, managing staffing, scheduling, and departmental budget, as well as partnering with sales for move-in assessments.

Ideal candidates possess strong clinical leadership, nursing management experience, and skills in team management, regulatory compliance, and care program oversight.
They should be committed to fostering a positive, resident-focused environment and ensuring excellence in care delivery.
