Role: Medication Aide / Med Tech in senior living, responsible for administering medications and treatments to residents with accuracy, safety, and dignity.
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer medications per physician orders, following the Six Rights of Medication Administration
- Accurately document in MAR/TAR in real time
- Monitor residents during and after medication passes, observe symptoms, and report concerns promptly
- Complete narcotic counts and maintain clean, organized medication carts and rooms
- Adhere to infection control and safety standards to prevent medication errors and ensure resident safety
Qualifications & Skills:
- High School Diploma/GED and age 18+
- Medication Administration certification, CPR, and First Aid certifications
- Strong documentation and communication skills
- Preferred experience in senior care
