Role Overview

The Caregiver provides hands-on support to seniors by assisting with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, mobility, and personal care. They follow individualized service plans (ISP), document changes, and promote safety, dignity, and independence for residents.

Key responsibilities include engaging residents through conversation and activities, supporting dining services, maintaining a clean environment, and effectively communicating with residents’ families and care team members. In Memory Care, the caregiver creates enriching experiences for residents with memory loss.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED, age 18+, CPR/First Aid certification or the ability to obtain it, and qualities such as compassion, reliability, and strong communication skills.
