Role Overview: This position involves coordinating patient care, managing personnel, maintaining and purchasing equipment, and overseeing departmental operations within a specialized endoscopy department.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervises staff including hiring, training, assigning tasks, evaluating performance, and conducting professional development.
- Participates in staffing, budgeting, and responding to operational changes to meet departmental goals.
- Ensures delivery of patient care aligned with assessment and treatment plans, documenting according to policy.
- Develops and implements collaborative care plans based on patient needs.
- Oversees staff productivity, manages payroll, staffing levels, and conducts performance reviews.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Minimum of a Nursing Diploma/Associate’s degree in Nursing.
- 2-5 years of nursing experience, with preferred leadership or charge nurse experience.
- Valid RN license required.
- Preferred qualifications include a Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing and 5-10 years of experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
