Role Overview: Provides direct patient care in a 6-bed ICU with a 2:1 nurse-to-patient ratio, focusing on acute cardiac and critical care patients.
Responsibilities:
Assess, diagnose, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care in collaboration with the healthcare team. Educate patients and families on illness management, post-treatment care, and medication administration. Promote patient safety, quality, and regulatory compliance. Develop and document individualized care plans, ensuring effective communication across care continuum. Utilize critical nursing skills to evaluate physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs, respecting patient preferences and cultural considerations. Participate in professional development and adhere to safety standards. Qualifications & Skills: RN license with a Nursing Diploma/Associate’s degree; Bachelor’s preferred. 1-2 years of Med/Surg experience; critical care experience is advantageous. Ability to work safely with alertness; team collaboration skills. Certifications as required; preferred Bachelor’s degree in nursing. Additional Details: Full-time and part-time options available, with night shift differentials. Responsibilities include occasional call shifts, weekend, and holiday rotations.
