Role Overview:
This position involves performing diagnostic imaging procedures using advanced modalities such as Cardiac Catheterization, Vascular Radiology, CT, MRI, and other medical imaging techniques on adult and pediatric patients for diagnosis and treatment. The technologist will prepare patients and equipment, independently conduct studies, and support in various settings including portable exams and on-call situations. Responsibilities include monitoring patient vitals, setting up sterile fields, working collaboratively with nurses and providers, and utilizing Siemens state-of-the-art equipment for high-quality imaging.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Associate’s Degree or Trade School equivalency
- Certification as a Registered Technologist in Radiography (R.T.(R)) or equivalent
- Preferred experience of 2+ years in relevant imaging modalities
- Licenses & Certifications such as RTR, CT, MR, Vascular, and CPR
- New grads and experienced technologists are encouraged to apply
Key Duties:
- Prepare patients and equipment for imaging procedures
- Perform diagnostic studies independently and in various clinical settings
- Support in vascular and cardiac procedures, ensuring patient safety and image quality
- Cross-train in scrubbing and other advanced skills
