Sonographer (Nights)

Role Overview:

This position involves performing ultrasound imaging procedures, including abdominal, small parts, obstetrical, and vascular studies, to assist in diagnosis and treatment for adult and pediatric patients. The sonographer may also assist with needle procedures such as biopsies and drainages.

Key responsibilities include ensuring equipment functionality, conducting imaging examinations independently, and accurately documenting procedures. The role may require on-call work, portable exams, and coverage at various sites.

Qualifications:

  • Associate degree or equivalent from a trade school
  • Certification as RDMS or equivalent
  • Preferred: 2+ years of experience, CPR certification, RDCS or equivalent

  • Ability to operate ultrasound equipment effectively
  • Attention to detail in documentation
  • Capability to perform studies independently and adapt to on-call or portable work
