Role: Inpatient Registered Nurse responsible for delivering comprehensive patient care, including assessments, treatments, medications, and diagnostic procedures, in a clinical setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care while coordinating and implementing individualized care plans.
- Assess physical, psychological, social, cultural, and spiritual needs of patients and families.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for discharge planning, patient education, and care adjustments.
- Evaluate and revise nursing interventions based on patient responses.
- Delegate and assign tasks to team members, promoting teamwork and efficient workflow.
- Participate in unit-based decision-making, safety initiatives, and quality improvement activities.
- Troubleshoot equipment and ensure adherence to standards of care.
- Support organizational goals aligned with Magnet standards and professional growth opportunities.
Qualifications & Skills: Graduate from a Specialty Training Program in Nursing, with strong teamwork, communication, and problem-solving abilities. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, respond to changing patient needs, and participate in continuous improvement efforts.
Additional Details: Work hours are from 7pm to 7:30am, with responsibilities in a Level 2 trauma center that includes trauma, behavioral health, STEMI, stroke, and cardiac care. The role involves participating in patient safety and quality initiatives, with a team-based approach supported by 24/7 staff including charge nurses, pharmacists, and other healthcare professionals.
