Diagnostic Radiology Technologist – Full Time – Evenings

Position Overview: Responsible for performing radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures to assist in diagnosis and treatment. Independently execute or support licensed practitioners in imaging activities, ensuring patient safety and data accuracy.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Obtain correct orders, identify and prepare patients, and document clinical history confidentially.
  • Utilize appropriate imaging protocols, optimize technical factors, and adhere to ALARA principles for radiation safety.
  • Prepare, administer, and document medications and radiation exposure activities per legal and institutional policies.
  • Evaluate image quality, ensure proper positioning, and verify data storage or transfer.
  • Educate and monitor students and healthcare providers; assist with fluoroscopic and specialized procedures, including outside of radiology settings.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Graduate from a radiologic technology training program.
  • Obtain ARRT-R registry within 6 months for new graduates; those hired after a specified date must meet advancement requirements within 24 months.
  • Strong understanding of radiologic procedures, patient care, safety protocols, and documentation.
