Role Overview: The Clinical Team Coordinator RN supervises nursing care on an assigned unit, ensuring high-quality, safe, and cost-effective patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provides direct patient care and supervises staff, assisting with orientation and performance evaluations.
- Coordinates staffing, monitors absenteeism, orders supplies, and manages patient and bed triage.
- Addresses performance issues, enforces policies, and communicates operational updates.
- Supports Magnet principles, mentors staff, promotes evidence-based practices, and ensures regulatory compliance.
- Manages resource utilization, resolves patient and family concerns, and documents incidents.
Qualifications & Skills: Critical thinker with the ability to make quick decisions in a fast-paced environment. Strong team player with independent functioning skills. Commitment to patient education and safety. Enrollment in or completion of a Bachelor’s or Specialty Nursing Program is preferred.
