Part-Time Emergency Department Nurse

Role Overview: Provides direct patient care activities including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation within established nursing standards. Promotes patient and family-centered care, educates on illness management, and ensures safe, high-quality care.


Responsibilities:

  • Develops, implements, and documents individualized care plans in collaboration with patients, families, and the healthcare team.
  • Assesses physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs, considering patient preferences, values, and cultural background.
  • Participates in activities promoting patient safety, quality, and regulatory compliance.
  • Educates patients and families on post-treatment care, medication administration, and health management.
  • Uses critical nursing skills to evaluate patient conditions and advocate for holistic care.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Education: Nursing Diploma/Associate’s Degree required; Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
  • Licenses & Certifications: Valid RN licensure.
  • Experience: No experience required; 2+ years preferred for advanced roles.
  • Skills: Critical thinking, excellent communication, and cultural competence.
