Role Overview:
The Graduate Nurse provides direct patient care activities, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation, within established nursing standards. The role requires completing a nursing program and obtaining licensure within 90 days of graduation to maintain employment in Missouri.
Responsibilities:
- Educate patients and families on managing illness, post-care, and medication needs.
- Utilize critical thinking to assess physical, psychosocial, and emotional patient needs.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans collaboratively, promoting patient-centered care.
- Evaluate patient responses and modify care plans accordingly.
- Participate in safety, quality, and compliance activities; engage in professional development.
- Work in a safety-sensitive environment, maintaining alertness and safety at all times.
Qualifications:
- Minimum: Nursing Diploma or Associate’s Degree in Nursing.
- Preferred: Relevant certifications or experience in nursing specialties.
