Radiology Technologist (Evening)

Role Overview:

The Radiology Technologist performs general imaging procedures for adult and pediatric patients to support diagnosis and treatment. Responsibilities include preparing patients and equipment, providing clear instructions, and independently conducting radiographic examinations, including portable and on-call procedures. The role emphasizes delivering high-quality, prompt imaging services with a focus on customer service and professionalism.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Associates or Trade School education; no prior experience required, but 2+ years preferred
  • Licenses including Radiology Technologist Registration and IEMA (excluding MRI); CPR certification preferred
  • Strong communication skills, customer service orientation, and ability to perform procedures independently
  • Experience in imaging procedures and knowledge of radiographic techniques are advantageous
  • Key Duties:

  • Preparing patients and equipment for imaging procedures
  • Informing patients about procedures and ensuring comfort
  • Performing radiographic exams accurately and efficiently
  • Responding to departmental requests and maintaining safety protocols
