Role Overview:
This position involves performing general radiographic procedures to diagnose and treat adult and pediatric patients. The Radiology Technologist prepares patients and equipment, provides clear instructions, and executes imaging examinations independently, including portable and on-call procedures, while maintaining high customer service standards.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare patients and equipment for procedures, ensuring proper communication and professionalism.
- Perform radiographic imaging examinations accurately and independently.
- Assist with portable exams and on-call duties as needed.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Associate degree or Trade School equivalency.
- Certification as a Registered Technologist in Radiography (R.T.(R)).
- Illinois IEMA license (excluding MRI).
- No prior experience required; experience in vascular, neurovascular, MR, CT, or specialized procedures is preferred.
- CPR certification is a plus.
Additional Information: The role is part-time (24 hours/week), benefits-eligible, with a rotating day shift schedule including weekends and holidays. Extra pay is available for weekend and holiday rotations.
