Role Overview:
We are seeking a Radiology Technologist to perform general imaging procedures for adult and pediatric patients, aiding in diagnosis and treatment of various disorders. The role offers flexible, PRN scheduling and cross-training opportunities. The technologist must hold a valid RT (R) license and prepare patients and equipment, ensuring high-quality imaging with professionalism and excellent customer service. Tasks include conducting radiographic examinations independently, including portable and on-call procedures.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Associate degree or equivalent from a trade school
- Licenses: IEMA (Illinois-only, excluding MRI), Radiology Technologist – Registered
- Preferred: at least 2 years of experience and CPR certification
- Ability to inform and comfort patients during procedures
