Role Overview:
This position involves providing direct patient care in a pediatric setting, emphasizing assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation within established nursing standards. It promotes patient and family-centered care, educating families on managing illnesses, medication administration, and post-treatment needs. The role includes participating in safety and quality initiatives, regulatory compliance, and professional development. Nurses develop and document individualized care plans, collaborating with the healthcare team and respecting patient preferences and cultural needs. This is a safety-sensitive role requiring alertness and adherence to safety protocols.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Nursing Diploma/Associate’s degree; RN licensure required
- Preferred: Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing and at least 2 years of experience, especially in Neuro or similar specialties
- Strong communication, critical thinking, and teamwork skills
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including on-call and holidays
