Cardiac Telemetry Nurse – Night Shift

Role Overview:

This position involves providing direct patient care within a Cardiac Telemetry unit, focusing on assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation of nursing activities. The role emphasizes promoting patient and family-centered care, educating patients on managing their health, and ensuring safety and quality standards are met.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develops and documents individualized care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team, patients, and families.
  • Uses critical nursing skills to evaluate physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs, respecting patient preferences and cultural considerations.
  • Participates in activities that enhance patient safety, regulatory compliance, and professional development.
  • Supports a healing environment by educating patients and families about post-treatment care and medication management.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Minimum education: Nursing Diploma or Associate’s Degree; preferred Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing.
  • Licensure: Valid RN license.
  • Experience: No prior experience required; 2+ years of telemetry experience is preferred.
  • Skills: Strong assessment, communication, and collaboration abilities; ability to work safely and alertly.
