Registered Nurse – Oncology Unit

Role: Inpatient Registered Nurse responsible for delivering high-quality patient care in a clinical setting, including assessments, treatments, medications, and diagnostic procedures.

Key Responsibilities: Conduct assessments, develop and coordinate individualized care plans, provide direct patient care, evaluate intervention effectiveness, collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, troubleshoot equipment, participate in evidence-based practice, and contribute to quality and safety initiatives.

Qualifications & Skills: Graduate from a nursing specialty training program; Bachelor’s degree preferred. Demonstrates compassionate care, strong communication, teamwork, problem-solving, and clinical judgment. Experience in oncology or specialized training in chemotherapy and bone marrow transplant is preferred for specific units.

Key Duties: Manage a range of patient needs, promote safety and patient satisfaction, coordinate care with multidisciplinary teams, and support patient and family education. Flexible hours with responsibilities including holiday and weekend work.
