Role Overview: The Inpatient RN provides comprehensive patient care, assessing needs, formulating and implementing care plans, and delivering treatments, medications, and diagnostic procedures. They collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, evaluate intervention effectiveness, and adjust care accordingly. The RN actively participates in unit decision-making, safety initiatives, and quality improvement activities to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Complete assessments within scope of practice and standards
- Address physical, psychological, social, cultural, and spiritual needs of patients and families
- Coordinate care plans, patient education, and discharge planning
- Provide direct patient care and evaluate responses to interventions
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to resolve patient needs
- Troubleshoot equipment and participate in evidence-based practice initiatives
- Contribute to quality and safety programs and team goals
Qualifications & Skills:
- Graduate of Specialty Training Program-Nursing (required)
- Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (preferred)
- Strong assessment, communication, and critical thinking skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
Additional Details: The role involves shifts from 7a-7:30p, with every other weekend and holiday requirements.
