Role: Registered Nurse (RN) in Acute Care – Medical, providing high-quality, safe patient care within an interdisciplinary team.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure individualized patient care by collaborating with licensed and unlicensed caregivers.
- Practice in a clinical environment guided by Nurse Managers and supported through shared governance.
- Adhere to the WellStar Professional Practice Model, 5-Star Nursing standards, and evidence-based practices.
- Maintain licensure and uphold standards outlined by the Georgia Professional Nurse Practice Act and the American Nurses Association.
- Support patient rights, organizational policies, and service excellence goals.
Qualifications:
- Graduate of an accredited nursing school; BSN preferred.
- Current RN license in Georgia or under the Enhanced Nurse Licensure Compact (eNLC).
- Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association.
- Experience with direct patient care; national certification in specialty preferred.
