Role: The RN Clinical Nurse provides high-quality, safe, patient-centered care as part of an interdisciplinary team in a clinical setting.
Responsibilities: Performs the nursing process—assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation—using evidence-based practices and critical thinking. Collaborates effectively with patients, families, and the healthcare team to deliver personalized care that respects cultural diversity. Coordinates and documents care, supports performance improvement initiatives, and promotes evidence-based research. Acts as a preceptor and contributes to developing protocols to improve patient outcomes. Ensures compliance with organizational policies, regulatory standards, and ethical practices.
Qualifications: Requires an Associate or Diploma Nursing degree (Bachelor’s preferred), active RN licensure (single or multi-state), and current BLS certification. PALS or equivalent pediatric advanced life support certification is also required.
Skills & Experience: Preferred experience in direct patient care. Must have strong communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills. Ability to operate in a fast-paced environment, respond decisively to emergencies, and demonstrate excellent time management. Proficient in technology use with basic computer skills.
