Position Overview

The Lead Caregiver role combines hands-on resident support with frontline leadership to ensure high-quality care in a senior living environment.
Responsibilities include leading shift assignments, managing attendance, providing assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs), coaching team members on care standards, reviewing documentation to ensure compliance with Individualized Service Plans (ISP), monitoring resident health, and communicating concerns promptly.
Additionally, the role involves supporting onboarding, mentoring new staff, and promoting safety and regulatory compliance to facilitate smooth shift transitions.
Candidates should possess a high school diploma or GED, CPR, First Aid, and Medication Administration certifications, along with strong communication, delegation, and decision-making skills.
Experience in assisted living, memory care, or senior care is preferred.
