Role Overview: This position involves providing high-quality nursing care within a patient care team, focusing on assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient needs. The registered nurse acts as a key communicator between patients, families, providers, and staff, ensuring a supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor, examine, and evaluate patient conditions; assist with care plans and take appropriate actions to promote patient outcomes.
- Deliver safe, effective care according to policies, maintain detailed documentation, and prioritize patient flow.
- Advocate for patients by addressing concerns, providing education, and ensuring satisfaction through patient- and family-centered care.
- Participate in performance improvement initiatives, support organizational goals, and contribute ideas for process enhancements.
- Maintain professional licenses and certifications, pursue ongoing training, and stay current with industry best practices.
- Foster professional growth in others through mentorship, uphold confidentiality and safety standards, and promote a positive work environment.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Associate’s, Bachelor’s, or Master’s degree in Nursing (preferred).
- Current licensure as a registered nurse, with multi-state or single-state certification.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required at hire.
- Minimum of one year of nursing experience for PRN roles.
