Position Overview: Join a dynamic Med Surg RN team supporting multiple campuses, providing compassionate, evidence-based care in a fast-paced environment. As a key team member, you will own the nursing process from assessment to evaluation, build meaningful patient and family relationships, and drive outcomes aligned with current best practices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver personalized, evidence-based nursing care and evaluate patient outcomes.
- Foster a respectful, collaborative team environment and contribute to performance improvement initiatives.
- Mentor and guide fellow nurses through ongoing education and competency development.
- Lead in applying evidence-based practices, participate in research, and support patient safety efforts.
- Plan care proactively, optimize resource use, and develop protocols to enhance patient experiences and reduce readmissions.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program; BSN preferred.
- Valid RN license (single or multi-state), BLS, and ACLS certifications required.
- 2+ years recent Med Surg experience and proficiency in computer data entry required.
- Familiarity with Epic and 3M systems preferred.
- Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and technical skills; ability to remain calm under pressure.
- Strong critical thinking, time management, and commitment to evidence-based practice.
