Role Overview

The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) Medication Nurse provides licensed nursing support in senior living environments, ensuring resident safety through safe medication administration, health monitoring, and accurate clinical documentation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Administer medications and treatments following physician orders and the Six Rights of Medication Administration
• Accurately document in MAR/TAR in real time and support care plan updates
• Monitor symptoms, report adverse reactions, and document physical, emotional, or cognitive changes
• Conduct Service & Health Updates (SHUs), transcribe physician orders, and maintain compliance standards
• Manage medication carts, perform narcotic counts, and uphold safety protocols

Qualifications & Skills:

• Active LPN license in good standing
• CPR and First Aid certifications
• Strong assessment and documentation skills
• Experience in senior care or medication administration preferred

This role is critical in preventing medication errors, early health change detection, and safeguarding resident well-being through clinical precision and regulatory adherence.
