Role Overview

The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) Medication Nurse provides licensed nursing support in a senior living environment, focusing on safe medication administration, health monitoring, and accurate clinical documentation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Administer medications and treatments following physician orders and the Six Rights of Medication Administration
• Accurately document in MAR/TAR in real time
• Monitor symptoms, report adverse reactions, and support care plan updates
• Observe and report physical, emotional, or cognitive changes in residents
• Maintain medication carts, conduct narcotic counts, and ensure compliance with regulations
• Conduct Service & Health Updates and transcribe physician orders

Qualifications & Skills:

• Active LPN license in good standing
• CPR and First Aid certifications
• Strong assessment and documentation skills
• Experience in senior care or medication administration preferred

This role plays a critical part in preventing medication errors, early identification of health changes, and safeguarding resident safety through clinical precision and regulatory adherence.
