Role Overview

As a Lead Caregiver, you will serve as a shift leader, ensuring high-quality, consistent resident care while coaching and supporting your caregiving team. Your responsibilities include leading shift assignments, managing attendance, providing hands-on assistance with activities of daily living (ADL), and reviewing charting to ensure it aligns with individual service plans. You will monitor resident changes, communicate concerns promptly, support onboarding and mentorship of new team members, and promote safety and compliance during shift transitions.

Qualifications & Skills include a high school diploma or GED, CPR, First Aid, and Medication Administration certifications. Strong communication, delegation, and decision-making skills are essential, along with experience in assisted living, memory care, or senior care. You are expected to model professionalism, accountability, and compassionate service in both caregiving and leadership roles.

Key duties involve leading shifts, coaching team members, ensuring quality documentation, monitoring resident health, and supporting a safe, compliant environment.
