Caregiver Role Summary

The Caregiver provides hands-on support to seniors, enhancing their quality of life through personal care and meaningful engagement.
Responsibilities include assisting with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, mobility, and personal care, while following Individualized Service Plans (ISP) and documenting any changes.
They promote safety, dignity, and independence, and foster social interaction by engaging residents in conversations and activities.
Support with dining services and maintaining a clean, welcoming environment is also essential.
In Memory Care settings, creating enriching experiences for residents with memory loss is a key duty.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED, age 18+, and CPR/First Aid certification or the ability to obtain it.
Ideal candidates demonstrate compassion, reliability, and strong communication skills.
