Role Overview

The Medication Aide/Med Tech is responsible for administering medications and treatments to residents in accordance with physician orders, ensuring safety, accuracy, and dignity. Key duties include following the Six Rights of Medication Administration, documenting accurately in MAR/TAR, observing residents during and after medication passes, monitoring symptoms, and reporting concerns promptly. Maintaining clean medication carts and rooms, completing narcotic counts, and adhering to infection control and safety standards are essential to protect resident health and prevent medication errors.

Qualifications & Skills:

• High School Diploma/GED and age 18+
• Medication Administration certification
• CPR and First Aid certification
• Strong documentation and communication skills
• Preferred experience in senior care
