Role Overview:
This position is for a part-time MRI Radiology Advanced Modality Technologist responsible for performing diagnostic imaging procedures, primarily MRI, on adult and pediatric patients for diagnosis and treatment. The role involves preparing patients and equipment, executing studies independently or in on-call situations, and ensuring quality control.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform diagnostic imaging procedures with advanced modalities
- Prepare patients and equipment for imaging studies
- Conduct studies independently, including portable exams and on-call situations
Qualifications & Skills:
- Certification as a Registered Technologist in Radiography (R.T.(R)) and/or MR
- Associate’s Degree or Trade School equivalency
- Minimum of 2 years MRI technologist experience preferred
- Licenses such as IEMA (excluding MRI), RTR, CT, MR, and others
- Preferred certifications: CPR, Intravenous Therapy
Additional Details:
- Part-time role with weekend shifts (Saturday & Sunday, 6am-6:30pm)
