Role Overview:
This position is for a Part-Time Radiology Technologist performing diagnostic imaging procedures to assist in patient diagnosis and treatment. The role involves preparing patients and equipment, conducting radiographic examinations independently, and providing high-quality customer service. Responsibilities include handling general radiographic procedures, including portable and on-call exams, with duties assigned by the department.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Associate degree or Trade School equivalency
- Certification as a Registered Technologist in Radiography (R.T.(R))
- Preferred experience in vascular, neurovascular, MR, CT, X-ray, or general radiology
- Licenses such as IEMA registration and Radiology Technologist certification
- Basic proficiency in radiologic equipment and procedures; CPR certification is a plus
Key Duties:
- Prepare patients and equipment for imaging procedures
- Perform radiographic exams independently, including portable and on-call procedures
- Maintain professionalism and excellent customer service
