Role Overview:
The Radiology Technologist performs general imaging procedures for adult and pediatric patients to assist in diagnosis and treatment. Responsibilities include preparing patients and equipment, providing clear instructions with professionalism, and independently conducting radiographic exams, including portable and on-call procedures.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Associate or trade school education
- No prior experience required; 2+ years preferred
- Licenses: Radiology Technologist – Registered; IEMA (Illinois only, excluding MRI); CPR certification preferred
- Ability to perform procedures independently and communicate effectively
Key Duties:
- Prepare patients and equipment for imaging procedures
- Inform patients about procedures with high customer service standards
- Perform radiographic exams accurately and efficiently
- Work scheduled hours, including every other weekend
Additional Information: This role offers 16 hours per week with specific evening and weekend shifts at an after-hours location. The position is non-benefits eligible and emphasizes high-quality patient care and professionalism.
