Role Overview:
The MRI Technologist performs diagnostic imaging procedures using advanced modalities, primarily Siemens MRI machines, to produce high-quality images for complex and critical cases. This PRN position requires working on an as-needed basis, including on-call and portable exams.
Responsibilities include:
- Preparing patients and equipment for imaging procedures
- Conducting studies independently and in various settings as required
Qualifications & Skills:
- Associate degree or higher in a related field
- Certification as a Registered Technologist in Radiography (RT(R)) and/or MRI (ARMRIT or equivalent)
- Preferred experience of 2+ years in MRI or other radiologic modalities
- Licenses such as IEMA (excluding MRI), CPR, Intravenous Therapy, and additional certifications are advantageous
Key Attributes: Knowledge of advanced imaging modalities, ability to work independently, and competence in patient preparation and safety protocols.
