Role Overview:
Seeking a Full-Time Senior Certified Radiation Therapist to perform patient treatments utilizing advanced radiation therapy techniques. The role involves preparing patients and their charts, delivering precise treatments, and coordinating scheduling to ensure effective care. The therapist will operate state-of-the-art treatment machines such as TrueBeam, Edge, ViewRay, Gamma Knife, and Hyperthermia, utilizing techniques like SBRT, SRS, Adaptive, OSMS, Identify, and Hypersite.
Responsibilities include:
- Preparing patients and charts before procedures
- Delivering accurate, consistent treatments
- Completing treatment processes and managing patient scheduling
Qualifications and Skills:
- Completion of an accredited Radiation Therapy program
- Board Certification by ARRT (RT[T])
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in radiation therapy
- Licensure as R.T.(T)
Additional Requirements: Strong knowledge of radiation oncology, proficiency with advanced treatment techniques, and the ability to work independently. The role offers a day shift schedule, no weekends unless on paid call, and requires a high school diploma or GED, with a preference for a Bachelor’s degree.
