Role Overview:
This position involves providing direct patient care in a fast-paced surgical environment, focusing on trauma, orthopedics, plastics, and reconstructive surgeries. The nurse promotes patient and family-centered care, educates on post-treatment needs, and participates in safety, quality, and regulatory activities. Responsibilities include developing and implementing individualized care plans, assessing physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs, and ensuring effective communication across care teams. The role requires critical judgment, attention to safety, and adherence to standards of nursing practice.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Minimum of a Nursing Diploma/Associate’s degree in Nursing; Bachelor’s preferred
- Current RN license
- Recent experience in related fields such as surgery, trauma, or plastics is preferred
- Ability to work in a safety-sensitive environment with alertness and professionalism
- Strong communication, assessment, and critical thinking skills
