Role Overview:
This position involves providing direct patient care in a high-risk cardiac unit, including assessments, planning, implementation, and evaluation of nursing care within established standards. Responsibilities include promoting patient and family-centered care, educating patients on managing their health, and participating in safety, quality, and professional development activities. The nurse will develop and document individualized care plans, communicate effectively across the care continuum, and assess physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs, respecting patient preferences and barriers.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Nursing Diploma/Associate’s degree in Nursing (RN license required)
- Preferred: Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing and two years of experience
- Telemetry/Cardiac experience is desirable
- Ability to work safely and maintain alertness in a safety-sensitive role
Key Duties:
