Role Overview: Provides comprehensive inpatient nursing care on an advanced acute care unit, assessing, planning, and evaluating patient needs to promote safety, satisfaction, and high-quality outcomes. Collaborates with interdisciplinary teams, coordinates patient care, and ensures a compassionate, patient-centered experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conducts assessments and develops individualized care plans, addressing physical, psychological, social, cultural, and spiritual needs.
- Delivers direct patient care, including treatments, medications, and diagnostic procedures following policies.
- Evaluates intervention effectiveness and adjusts care plans accordingly.
- Collaborates proactively with physicians, staff, and other team members to meet patient needs.
- Participates in quality, safety, and evidence-based practice initiatives, and unit decision-making.
- Troubleshoots equipment issues and promotes a safe environment.
- Supports patient education, discharge planning, and family needs throughout hospitalization.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Graduate from Specialty Training Program in Nursing (required).
- Strong assessment, communication, and teamwork skills.
- Commitment to safety, quality improvement, and compassionate care.
