Role: Inpatient RN specializing in Cardiac Special Care, responsible for delivering high-quality patient care in a high-acuity, adult cardiac unit.
Responsibilities: Provide direct patient care including treatments, medications, and diagnostic procedures; perform assessments; address physical, psychological, social, cultural, and spiritual needs; develop and implement individualized care plans; evaluate intervention effectiveness; collaborate with interdisciplinary team members; delegate tasks; troubleshoot equipment; participate in evidence-based practice decisions; promote teamwork; and support quality and safety initiatives.
Qualifications & Skills: Graduate from a nursing specialty training program; experience in Cardiac Step Down, including titrating medication IVs, BiPap, CPAP, and high-flow oxygen; strong teamwork and communication skills; ability to adapt to changing patient needs; commitment to safety and quality improvement.
Key Duties: Work in a 14-bed high-acuity cardiac unit, providing intermediate care for cardiac, thoracic, and vascular surgical patients, with a focus on critical care procedures. Adhere to standards of care established by the State Board of Nursing and organizational policies.
