Role Overview: Provides anesthesia care in the operating room, supporting surgical, diagnostic, and therapeutic procedures under the supervision of an anesthesiologist. Responsible for preoperative evaluations, postoperative follow-up, and acting as a patient advocate, liaison, and confidant for patients, families, and physicians.
Key Responsibilities:
- Administers anesthesia across a variety of case types, supporting a Level I Trauma Center and multiple non-OR sites such as GI, Pulm, Cath/EP, IR, OB, and MRI.
- Supports a hospital with 31 operating rooms, including specialized services like neurosciences, cardiovascular, transplantation, and pediatrics.
- Collaborates with a multidisciplinary team of specialists and subspecialists.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Master’s Degree in Nursing (required).
- Ability to perform comprehensive patient assessments and deliver anesthesia services.
