Role Overview: Provides direct patient care activities including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation within nursing care standards. Promotes patient and family-centered care, educating on illness management, post-treatment care, and medication administration. Ensures patient safety, quality, and regulatory compliance while engaging in professional development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develops, implements, and documents individualized care plans with clear goals in collaboration with the healthcare team, patients, and families.
- Utilizes critical nursing skills to evaluate physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs, respecting patient preferences, values, and cultural considerations.
- Participates in safety initiatives and maintains compliance with regulatory standards.
- Provides education to patients and families on managing their health conditions and post-discharge care.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Nursing Diploma or Associate’s Degree required; Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
- Current RN license required.
- Experience in ICU, critical care, or PACU preferred; no prior experience necessary for some roles.
- Strong assessment, communication, and patient advocacy skills.
- Ability to work in a safety-sensitive environment with a focus on alertness and safety.
