Role Overview:
Provides direct pediatric patient care, supporting families through rooming patients, triage, callbacks, vaccinations, and assisting providers with procedures. Collaborates with healthcare teams to develop and implement care plans, assess patient needs, and ensure compliance with protocols. Supports provider documentation, offers patient education, and promotes high-quality, cost-effective care. The role emphasizes teamwork, critical thinking, and excellent patient communication.
Responsibilities include:
- Developing and updating care plans with PCPs and specialists
- Assessing patients’ physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs
- Following clinical protocols and documentation standards
- Providing patient education and support
- Supporting a safe work environment and demonstrating alertness
Qualifications:
- Nursing Diploma/Associate’s Degree in Nursing
- 2-5 years of experience; RN license required; BLS certification
- Preferred: Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing and 5-10 years of experience
