Role Overview: Provides direct patient care activities, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation, within established nursing care standards. Promotes patient and family-centered care, educating on illness management, post-treatment care, and medication use. Participates in ensuring patient safety, quality, and regulatory compliance, and engages in ongoing professional development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develops, implements, and documents individualized care plans collaboratively with the healthcare team, patient, and family.
- Uses critical nursing skills to evaluate physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs, considering patient preferences and barriers related to values, culture, and spiritual needs.
- Works in a safety-sensitive environment, maintaining alertness and safe practices at all times.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Minimum of Nursing Diploma/Associate’s Degree in Nursing.
- Current RN licensure; Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing preferred.
- No prior experience required; two years of experience preferred.
