Role Overview:
This position involves performing diagnostic imaging procedures using advanced modalities such as Computed Tomography (CT). The Technologist prepares patients and equipment, performs studies independently, and ensures quality control for adult and pediatric patients. It offers a night shift schedule with four days per week, no weekends or call, and includes a night shift differential pay.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare patients and equipment for imaging procedures.
- Perform studies independently, including portable and on-call exams.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Associate’s Degree or Trade School equivalency.
- Certification as a Registered Technologist in Radiography (R.T.(R)) and/or CT.
- Preferred experience in CT, RT, X-ray, or radiology; 2+ years of experience is advantageous.
- Licenses such as RTR, CT, MR, and others; CPR and intravenous therapy certifications are preferred.
